Cat back exhaust, TRD intake, Ripp coil packs.
I upgraded my exhaust and now have my stock pipes left. If I sell, what are they worth in San Diego?

    only 20k miles on them.

I just don’t know how much to ask, or what platform to use?

    thanks,

    Jim

Its worth keeping for when the new exhaust rusts out or you get tired of the noise

IMHO the only place an OE system has some value is rust land where someone just wants an OE replacement.

And you're too far away to make shipping reasonable for those folks.

Highly unlikely anyone local will want it, but you could try FB market place or Craigslist. You can't list here because you have no rep yet.

it's a very teeny, tiny market. The only people willing to buy a stock catback are the ones that have a rusted out catback on a high mileage truck living in extreme environments, or the guy that is selling his truck and ditched his original catback when he/she installed their aftermarket exhaust. You would have to find the right buyer at the right time and even then you will be lucky to get $100 for it. Mine is sitting in a box in the garage.

Any truck that they will fit on, already comes with them.

I recently took mine to scrap. I was hanging on to it in case I got tired of the TRD catback, but it was taking up too much space in the garage.

I thought about posting it for sale or for free, but there's really not much demand.

Maybe find someone selling or trading in their truck that wants to convert back to stock. :notsure:

It is worth what someone will pay for it. Set a price and list it and see what happens. If nothing happens, lower the price until it sells.

If anyone has the long bed OEM catback in north/central Illinois, western Indiana, southern Wisconsin, or eastern Iowa I will take it. I'm tired of the drone from my magnaflow catback after 6 years.

Play a joke on someone with it, go to a big parking lot somewhere, find a decent sized truck and just lay it underneath where the owner will see it as they walk up to their truck.

Since you're in San Diego, there won't be many Tacomas that are rusting out underneath. I think you would be hard-pressed to give that stuff away.

I like the recommendation to keep your OEM stuff, especially if you have room in a garage, for the time being. After a year or so of moving it around every time you wish to leaf blow the garage, you can re-evaluate.
