    High of 73° here today but looking at the East Coast and the NE, Damn! Yeah everyone stay cool. And safe. Waking up in a stainless steel cattle tank full of ice water and a thermometer sticking out of every orifice of your body is not fun, at least not for me.

    Dragnet was a cool show, so different from the Andy Griffith Show. My mom and I loved 12 O’clock High. My dad would always point out the actual film footage from the Hollywood stuff.

    Good morning everyone. I stayed home so that I can get more work done on the piece of crap firewood truck. I gotta get out there beforenthe sun bakes my brain again. Yesterday wasn't fun by the end of the day, I was a wreck. Everyone be safe and stay hydrated.

    I'm not exactly a spring chicken anymore! I was on the same LST for both deployments ( The Bristol County). I don't recall too many details about the ship other then the 1MC at Reveille.. damn Boatswain's mate and their whistle! We had a VCR in our berthing area and there was some sort if CCTV system. I remember watching a super bowl playoff game in San Fran when an earthquake hit and stopped everything.
