Hi all. New to Tacoma World but not Toyota trucks or discussion boards. I was the proud original owner of a 1994 Landcruiser I recently sold and on IH8MUD.

Just landed a Trailhunter this week! Ice Cap white.

For the inevitable question, msrp without any dealer mark up or junk add on's.

Looking forward to getting to know Tacoma's. Immediate mod will be figuring out how and where to mount my ham radio and antenna. It does have a detachable face plate which will make it a little easier. Other thing I'm looking at is removing the ARB sport bar in the bed. Looks like it's mounting interferes with mounting a hard tonneau cover. While I like the looks of the bar, I really need the security and protection of a cover for my camping gear! I'll be doing a lot of research here!

Yes! I’m in love. Edit: I swear, I’d put a flat black stripe right down the center of that thing.

Looks nice I like it. Something about the TH makes me want put a fiberglass cap on it.

Cap or tonneau cover, both require removing the ARB bar in the bed. Will probably try to sell the bar. Toyota wants $1450 for them!!

Based on photographs on different websites it looks like the bar is a simple bolt on.

Wow that bar is expensive, I could take it or leave it. I like that the roof rack isn't standard, I prefer cross bars or the roof rack mounted on the cap vs the cab.

It is. 12 bolts total. 3 on each side rail and 3 on the front rail for each side.

Is the rail on the front of the bed standard on 4th gen's?

All the halo trucks, TRX, Raptor, etc., look better with a cap. But then it has to be one of the ultra premium ones, not a cheap shit Snugtop like I have.

I don't even like caps, but at some times I wouldn't mind having as they can complete a truck. I don't really need one, and I'd have to clear it off in the winter. I like the classic aluminum caps on a Tacoma. The cap on your truck looks fine to me.

    Edit

I just recalled that I saw a sand color AT4 Canyon with a cap.

What does the manual say about the air intake? Is it an actual snorkel, or is it just a "clean air intake" that is not actually sealed to prevent water ingestion?

Some have said they come in both options?? The picture certainly looks like a 5ft bed...

But in Canada it only comes in a 6ft bed.
