You would be surprised how much glare reduction comes from a quality dashmat

To those saying it's just an excuse to put on hood decals: "tell me you are under 6 foot without telling me you are under 6 foot..." If I hunch down it pretty much goes away, but sitting up straight (I'm 6'4") it's absolutely blinding. I wonder why the Japanese engineers missed it...

That's what I did. Watch videos on masking with plasti-dip before you try it (TL;DR - you gotta put it on thick in one fast coat and pull the masking tape before it dries or you are going to have a bad time...). I probably could have done a better job masking, but from a distance it looks fine and fixed my glare issue!

My CSM does it too but I just watch the road not the hood.

Did my Inferno with clear matte vinyl, does what I needed it to do and is hardly noticeable.

I mean, unless you are wearing eskimo slit style sunglasses, it's gonna be in your peripheral vision no matter where you look out the windshield...

Sell it and buy something else! I have an astigmatism and it really doesn’t bother me.

But... I just fixed it... Also, aren't astigmatisms more screwy at night? It's usually not a problem for me then. :D

Excessive exposure to UV rays from the sun or bright lights can also contribute to the development and progression of astigmatism. My doctor recommends that I wear sunglasses anytime I’m outside in bright sun light so maybe that’s why the glare from the hood doesn’t affect me.

With sunglasses and focusing on the road I have no issues although everyone is different so I can see where the glare could affect others.
