I bring the truck to the dealer about battery discharge but its because i dont use the truck a lot.

I record a video on a strange sound of the truck and i do my research and i think its the valve cleaning “taco tick”. The dealer think its a vacuum pump need to be change under warranty. What you think about this?

Under warranty I would just have them change it and see what happens. Why not?

I have a TRD Off-road that ticks plenty. Seems to be cleaning cycle related. No issues with it yet and I’m at 52K. Nothing has changed, so no concerns here.

If it has never made any noise until now, that would be a bit concerning. Mainly because they all should be making noise because they do noisy cleaning cycles quite frequently. Maybe record what you are hearing and post it here.
