Has anyone taken delivery of any TRD parts yet?

Has anyone received any TRD parts for their 4G Tacoma yet?

Specifically the sliders, skid plates or ARB bumper?

If so, where did you order them? On the web, or at a dealer?

Please let me know which dealer or website URL

 

Just the TRD air filter but just ordered an AFE now that they are out

 

I got the Shift Knob lol

I held off on the air filter because I thought someone would have something better

 

I ordered and received a TRD skid plate from Courtesy Toyota.

 

Thanks for posting that gemiv. A few questions: your placard says you have an OR so I assume it did not come with the 'Cowcatcher'? But in that pic it looks like there was one mounted at one time. I'm thinking of buying that skid plate for my Sport and removing the front air dam but don't want to introduce any additional wind noise. Did your truck come with the dam and if so, have you noticed any additional noise after removing it and installing the skid plate?

edit - also, in the description of that skid plate it says it doesn't block any maintenance items but doesn't it block the oil drain plug?

 

My truck is an OR and never had the chin strap. I have not noticed any additional noise with this skid plate. Yes you have to remove the skid to get to the oil filter, no different than the stock composite skid plate.

 

I like the skid! I’ve been wanting to order these things but have been scared I’d have to wait 6 months.

Nice. After you get them installed, will you confirm you can get a highlift jack (or similar) under the bar with or without the doors open? Without the frame of the jack contacting parts of the truck? Thanks.
