Went from a 2015 SR5 Tundra crewmax to a 2020 Tacoma SR5 4cyl. Made the change mainly due to the rising gas prices (weekly about $150 in gas due to working out of my truck). Landed a 4runner briefly before jumping to the Taco. It's my daily commuter and ranch truck. Bought it last year with about 63k miles and I'm hitting 83k currently. Keeping it a few years, gonna start working on some mods soon. Hope to meet some good folks on here.

Always shocks me when someone complains about gas prices in Texas when they start with a $2. Welcome to the forum

Thinking of some KO2's and either leveling or lift kit. Looking for 3inch front 2inch rear. Not sky high but enough to have some clearance.

I understand completely when I hear the gas prices my family pays in California. It's good to be here, thanks

Wouldn't that kill your MPGs, the main reason for upgrading?

When you compare to my tundras old mpg of 9 mpg to 11 mpg on average, the Taco takes the cake which it shouldn't go that low. Also can't compare the quickness and the off road ability of the Taco. I find I'm able to get in and out of tight spaces easily when comparing to the tundra.
