I’m looking to mod up my Tacoma and I want to start with a single cab seat setup with a center seat that can flip down to be a center console. Anyone have any suggestions?

This seems like more trouble than it is worth because all you gain is a console which you sorta already have around the shifter. You are better off making (or ordering) a generic console box (which can double as an armrest) that you can place on the middle of the OEM bench seat and remove when you don't need it. There are so many of those for sale out there online and on Amazon.

I went through a bench to bucket conversion myself with new aftermarket seats and new OEM Toyota parts for the console and carpet. I hated the bench seat and have no regrets removing it.
