    went in for 45k service. signed the pad ok-ing service and had o&f and tire rotate priced.

    when i got the invoice, price was double. materials/ tax/ sundries were not included on the electronic version.

    it's not the final cost i'm complaining about, ($111.10) but the way it's being presented which makes me think it a loss-leader/ bait & switch presentation.


    am i being a nudge?

    I'm sure there is fine print so tiny you need an electron microscope to read it that said something
    about tag-tax-title being extra.

    Did you bring condoms?

    the old bait & switch, I own my own repair shop, I can not tell you how many times I hear this from my customers. Next time if there is a next time,, ask for a itemized bill up front. This usually solves the problem. They do like like doing this however.

    when i called and questioned the service manager, he told me "the software has been down for a couple of days".

    i want to see what the excuse is in 5K miles when i ask.

    as mentioned, it's not the money, it's the razzle-dazzle which annoyed me.

    YES, agreed nobody wants to get the run around especially when it comes to money. IF you are handy perform the maintenance yourself. This way you know its right...:cheers:

    then i ask again anything other charges?
    then i look right at them and say call me first if its more than this
