Greetings.. I've traveled for work quite a bit in the NE including Hartford, Portland, and routes around there. Never been to Vermont.

Daughter might have an opportunity to start med school at UVM.

Looks like a great area to tour in a rental car, might ride my motorcycle back there in a year or so, and perhaps make a trip up to Canada.

And good, bad, ugly about this college, the town, and surrounding 200 miles or so?

    Thanks,

This probably doesn’t help you at all..

I spend my time further south, but was looking at uvm’s deal for in-state tuition. I want to buy property in VT anyway, so if I could establish residency for my daughter a few years before she’s ready for college, it could save quite a bit of money.

I’ve only been to Burlington a handful of times. It’s a pretty nice area. Doesn’t take long to get out of the city and into the countryside. Lots of good skiing nearby. Hikes, mountain biking, camping, water activities on lake Champlain

Thanks, it does look like a decent area. She finds out in a few months where grad school will be. Then, we'll take a trip and check it out.

The only thing about Vermont is the climate. It can be very cold in winter, you need to get used to it.

My friend studied there and said that the university is famous for its academic programs. The downside is that it is a bit expensive for training. In addition to the fact that you need to pay for university, you will still use assignment writing services one hundred percent because you will not be able to cope, namely https://ca.edubirdie.com/assignment-writing-services and not only. Burlington is a small town and everyone knows everyone. This is a plus, since the students are very friendly. And you can get to Montreal in a few hours

Nothing to see in Canada around the VT border really

VT is great tho, small communities and really nice countryside. Awesome if you're an angler or skier especially
