Do Bronze Oxide TRD exist ???

34"tires stock sus. OR basic pckg. upgraded all speakers with amp and diamonds all around with 10"jl sub set behind passenger seat sounds amazing. installed a pedal commander, it's worth it if you want crisper gas pedal but the rev hang on let off is still there (maybe due to the turbo?) window tint, westcott spacers, brushed alum wheels and matte black textured topper are incoming.

this thing is so much more fun to drive than my ole 3rd gen.

They did away with their dealer-added (after truck arrival) $99 door guard option. They had a $1000 discount about a month ago for an identical bronze oxide build. YMMV on any deal.

I test drove a BO TRD Sports in early June. Didn’t pull the trigger. It was sold that same weekend. I put a deposit on a Blue taco TRD Sports late May but after thinking it through…..the color was ehh. Earlier last week, I put a deposit on a Sports Ice Cap but saw an Off-Road at the dealership for the same price so I switch to the Off-Road. It doesn’t come in until the 3rd week of July. That dealership has a BO Off-road but it was spoken for.

I was checking another local dealership - Larry H Miller- and saw the BO yesterday. I called the internet person and asked if it was available. It was not spoken for and is in “GT status - Ground Transportation.” After an hour of dealing, we came to an agreement. They were able to match my trade (Subaru Forester) and the discount from the other dealership plus give me a little extra. Discounted $1700. I pulled the trigger, did the paperwork, and pay cash. My truck is not here yet, it will be here by July 1st.

Got to sit next to a fellow bronze oxide today at a traffic light. They were in a sport I was in my OR. Exchanged a wave and said nice truck! Pretty rare considering it was only the 3rd or 4th 4g I have seen in my area.

 

Passed up on 3 BO’s, because I wanted the SDM one had it but was 55K+ loaded with PIO garbage.

 

Saw one the Thursday on the local dealer's website. Went to look at it Friday. It was already sold but I love the color. Going in next week to see if they can get me an OR long-bed in bronze in the next couple of months.

 

I brought her on Thursday. She got to dealership this morning. No mechanics for inspection today so I will have to wait until Monday to bring her home.

Had the little window in my old taco, the only thing it was good for was sucking all the dirt from the bed into the truck, rarely used it.

 

Just put a deposit down on a bronze OR 5' bed (wanted a 6' but none to be found). Accepted some options I really didn't want but BRONZE!
