    Hello all,

I recently experienced a change in ride comfort when hitting 50mph+.

the ride seems to get bumpy or vibrate on pavement. I have also experienced rougher suspension than before, but I do not believe this is correlated. I am unsure what could be causing this, and I have dropped information on the vehicle/recent maintenance.

I have a 2018 TRD Off Road 4x4 with 70k miles. Just recently replaced the CV axles and had an alignment done. I was told the front lower control arm adjustment sleeves were seized, so the alignment was not able to be done exactly how they wanted.

I am due for spark plugs according to the service manual, and I am assuming this would be the #1 culprit? Please drop your advice below. Any advice on the other issues within this post are also appreciated.

    Thank you!

Spark plugs causing a rough ride?? Are you referring to the way to the actual ride (suspension related) or the engine?

The shaking seems to be coming from the engine.

Perhaps a wheel is unbalanced. Could have dirt that is caked on or you lost a weight.

Also could be your drive shaft/ prop shaft is causing the vibration. Could have a bad carrier bearing, loose connection, stuck debris, or damage.

This is all great advice. If it was an engine issue it wouldn’t just happen at 50+ mph. This is definitely a tire, suspension or driveshaft issue. If you are lifted, could be bad needle bearing as well. If it was an engine problem, you would most likely get a code. Especially if it was missing do to bad spark plugs

The question is when did this start. After you replace the CV joints? Then it is probably related to that. Otherwise it could be 1,000,000 other things.

Did you replace the front lower control arm adjustment sleeves?
