I'm running them as we speak. Have had no problems at all....just had a thrust alignment done 2 days ago and was almost dead center of spec on all tire angles.....been a while since I had all green in the print out after an alignment.
Have checked 2 times since using these ball joints for approximately 3 weeks now and they are fully seated, no pinching of the boot, no over extension of the knuckle (positive camber), and there are no new marks on the springs contact so I'd say so far these are the ball joints that I'm sure we weren't supposed to find....lol....instead of buying "their" joints.....

    Minty!
thanks again, you did what I could not.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you find the information on all the different ball joint sizes/measurements? That was my first thought on how to tackle this but my searches for that info came up blank

Honestly, I burned alot of time and I'm sure there were easier ways, buy after I popped the original ball joint out, I grabbed the calipers and measured the obvious parts.....I started searching for ball joints that were press in with a 1.8 diameter, after wording it several ways I got Google to pop up a short list of moog joints and there specs....I found one that was real close....it was k6696, so I looked that up on the moog web sight. Found out thst they kind of cluster similar joints together, including by part number, so that helped narrow it down....so then I hopped on advanced auto parts web sight, tho not the best parts store, they give the most info in the description for their parts......when searching k6696, which by the way will also fit, but has less range of movement then 6694, it gave me a part interchange option. I clicked it and it brought me to k6694....same diameter, same length, and the correct ball stud taper....so grabbed the old joint, calipers, and cruised down to advanced auto and they let me measure away to my hearts content.....thats also when I discovered the difference in the range of motion between 6694 and 6696.........also found out that they weren't exclusively moog part numbers, that they were unique to that style of joint and that other companies made those same joints....the moog were around $45 each.......I ended up at oreilly auto with some from precision chassis for 25 each, fully serviceable brand new joints.....even had a guy that worked at our les schwab tire shop right down the info because he said they have actually turned down ball joint work on ppls rigs that had "unbranded" UCA's because they couldn't get parts...........I still visually check the joints everyday pretty much, just to satisfy my mind, and so far so good.....

Do these UCA's allow for increased caster? I'm currently on stock UCAs on a 2 inch lift with 285's. Are these good enough or do I need SPC's? I'm just worried about the bad ball joint issues.

bumpity. I need to replace the UCAs on my 07 after installing lift to correct the postive camber - how are these holding up for everyone? And did it correct the positive camber?
    Thanks

Just got a set of these barely used off Extreme Terrain the other day for a steal, should have them in the mail today. Glad I found this thread about them and they seem to be of decent quality for their price. I wasn't trying to spend over $300 for a set of UCA's, that just sounds ridiculous to me. Now to start piecing together the rest of my suspension setup.

I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I was originally looking at the JBA upc for my truck. Turns out on their tire fitment list, the 255/85r16s I run won't clear without rubbing and I'd need over 4 inches of backspacing to clear the JBAs. I currently run oem wheels (specifically the bronze trail edition rims) and so I decided to look elsewhere. Anyone run these Freedom Offroad ones and have oem wheels with 255.85r16s? I do light off roading sometimes crawling over small-medium size rocks and frame twister type obstacles but mostly a daily driver and looking to improve freeway driving instead of the constant steering micro-corrections as if I was driving a Wrangler. Do these upcs have zerks for greasing up the joints like the JBAs do?

Edit: These are the wheels I run

I'm on the same task but I got the Wulf UCA the ball joint is a little different, smaller basically, on hat is 2.05 and 1.77 on the press side. K6694 and 96 are bigger . Can you tell if you find any PDF like chart where to star looking.

Hey just came across this thread, do any of you guys know if the bushing is oem size? I'd like to get some of these and put poly bushings in. Much appreciated!
