Certainly can't be that Toyota produced too many, not like lots aren't filled with Tundras not selling, or that those trucks could be on an FI/QC hold (my allocation is). That game can go both ways.

Here's something non-anecdotal for you: Toyota STILL has the lowest day's supply of any automaker in the country. Chicken Little Syndrome is real in this forum.

Ya not like the other manufacturers are panicked from a massive overproduction issue. F150s and broncos stacking up on satellite lots and 1.9% financing, 23's still hanging out, Ram same issue and Jeep, etc. but cool story bro, you can skew numbers however you want. We shall see what the sales numbers look like.

Please tell me how I'm skewing numbers? This is an industry standard report that comes out monthly.

To the narrative that all those trucks will sell or are selling well. Just because the other brands over produced in comparison to Toyota and thus a higher supply, does not indicate consistent or higher / actual sales.

I don’t think the amount of supply days really tells the entire story.

Look where Porsche is. They sold 75,000 cars last year.

Toyota sells between 30 to 40,000 cars a week.

What data, that other manufacturers have an overproduction problem / oversupply that has been talked about by the industry for months now. So because Toyota produced less and others produced too much they must be selling oh so well, or the real fact trucks are in FI / QC hold...

I guess you missed the note at the bottom of the graph stating that "dealer inventory and in-transit/pipeline" are included, so your FI/QC theory falls right apart.

Supply does not indicate sales, especially when said suppliers have overproduced and is well known. Not sure how this is a difficult concept to grasp. But ya that meme...

Where is this from, define in transit/pipeline because there are QC/FI holds at port too. But ya. And still does not indicate actual sales or volume maybe if they all produced vehicles at the same amount.

The balance between production and sales is the day's inventory in the data. This does go some way to indicating how well sales are going. Toyota hasn't shut down any factories or curtailed production at all. You're just grasping at straws bro and it's lame.

The port is part of a car's transit is it not? What the hell are you talking about?

Where there are both too few Toyotas being produced and too many Toyotas being produced. Simultaneously.

So if they are being held at port for QC/FI how does my theory fall through? I literally was told all the premium ORs were in FI/QC by my dealer when I asked about my allocation.

So those trucks are part of Toyota's inventory and are counted above. Apparently there aren't THAT many on hold or Toyota's inventory would be higher.

In reference that there is a bottle neck.
