which headlights are these?

Hello, Im new to the forum. I recently acquired a 2010 Pre Runner for my son's first vehicle. It needs new headlight assemblies and after reading several posts I think we've decided to replace them with OEM. It sounds like there are two housing options: chrome and smoked. I read that the smoked was standard on the sport model? However, it appears the lights installed on it now are smoked? I dont think the previous owner switched them out. Can anyone confirm?

Those are not smoked, but they are burnt. The DLRs have melted the plastic, which is a known problem and there is an updated headlight (& bulb?) to take care of that. Unfortunately I don't know the part numbers for the replacements but if you search the forums they have been posted several times. Also do a search to find the cheapest places to buy OEM headlights. It does make a $$$ difference and sometimes you can find them on sale.

 

What do you want? Smoked or not they are the same fitment and you will have to watch for the DRL to melt again. Or you can do that DRL delete which I did on my 09 and put smoked in.
