So all the sudden a couple days ago on my 22' trdor the daytime running lights/orange markers on sides along with the rear running tail lights stay on after I turn off and exit the truck and double click the key fob. They will turn off if I manually shut them off at the switch on the turn signal lever.

I tried disconnecting the battery and checked the door jamb switches as that was an issue for another member that posted a few years ago. I do have a leer camper shell 3rd brake light mounted to the driver side brake light for a year, 12v power from the battery to the leer fuse box, oem tail gate pop lock, and any time front/rear cam. All those mods have been installed for a year with no issues. The only recent mods done were AVS window visors and an OTT update a few weeks ago... Ive waited 20 minutes for the to turn off but again the double click should automatically shut them off like usual. About to check the camper shell connections. Any help is appreciated ~thanks in advance

All stock. After thinking I possibly had a short somewhere with my small mods, I did not and kept searching and found this thread post #33. Resolved the issue somewhat. Prior to this problem my DRL would stay on until I double clicked the key fob. For 2 years I never had an issue with the DRL staying on... the OP @icer22x had figure out as its not in the owners manual, post 33. Hopefully with this method I can figure out how to get the DRL to turn off with the double click method after exiting the truck...

Hey bud. Just to verify, you are not operating the light switch on the control lever AFTER the doors are open, are you? This was my issue and I thought my lights were malfunctioning. If you turn your lights on after the door is open and then shut the door and lock it, they will stay on.
