Dealership problems with fuse for BSM

    Off the phone with the dealer just now, 3 hours into diagnosis, dashboard air controls went about two weeks ago on 2017 Tacoma. Apparently the BSM and wiring is all corroded, fine with me, but because that shares fuse with dashboard air controls, they say I'd need to replace the BSM systems ($3100+) otherwise they don't know how else to cure it.

    I asked them to just snip or cap off that part of things but they're saying no guarantees it'll work.

    Any suggestions or hear of this before?
