Hey Connecticut, our backs hurt

CDK (the software company) has been down for the last couple days. Many dealerships use their software including us.
I heard it was ransomware but I'm not sure. We are doing hand written RO's. It's a mess.

 

Quick trip to our Boston office (State street), and lunch with some business partners. Was fairly last minute/impromptu planning.

I appreciate the open-ness.

 

Tried to book an appointment yesterday and that system was down; same system I’m guessing? I have a coolant leak and since it’s still under extended warranty, Lexus can fix that!

 

Never been by that one but I know y'all have space in Quincy. Fun fact, my company was right across the street from the Quincy location when I started there and we eventually bought one of your buildings.

 

Electrician guy finished the metal building yesterday. Got power now, lights, outlets and floods.

Still unboxing and organizing.

Being retired now, it's no problem. No time constraints or rushing to do it after work or on a weekend.
Brought my 25 yo beater 42 incher here last week and I used it to do the rough edged and tight areas.
Can I say it's "almost" relaxing now?

I have 2 more acres of woods below the lawn and I'm gradually opening up a couple old trails there. I'd like to open them up to the road below me I border.

 

Same. I don't know how we are doing appointments. I think we use different software for just appointments.

Morning boys, another spicy one out there, keep an eye to the sky this afternoon

 

So... I fucked up my back AGAIN on Sunday while doing storm clean up.

Was picking up some logs, being careful I thought and lifting with my knees when I felt something. Took it easy for the rest of the day and wasn't feeling anything.

Monday came and felt a little tight. Iced it, took some Aleve e and stretched a lot. Same thing yesterday but felt better, so went to play a soccer game I had. Not a good idea. Feeling it worse today so icing it a lot more, stretching a lot more, and trying ibuprofen instead of Aleve.

I hate this. I really do. This is ruining my life. Feel like I can't do anything anymore without it flaring up. And I honestly don't even know if it's a disk thing or a muscle thing anymore.

 

I might have to get that. I can't live like this for the rest of my life.

I'm an active person, love to be active, and this is really going to put a stop to that because I'm living in fear constantly.

 

You need a properly vetted stretching routine EVERYDAY
You need to plank EVERYDAY
You need a natural anti-inflammatory like a tumeric supplement EVERYDAY

You're not 21 y.o. anymore. I gave up deadlifts and hang cleans three years ago. Even though I had the core strength and muscle strength I no longer had the disc volume to handle the axial load. Not a single back or sciatica issue since. Sometimes you need to modify your lifestyle in the interest of back health.

 

Where do I get turmeric? Is it only at one of those vitamin type stores?

There's a Rite Aid I go to a lot for meds and stuff, so going to check there after work.

 

You need to take it EVERYDAY...not just when you have an issue

 

Definitely going to take it everyday.

I'm at the point that I will do ANYTHING to make this go away and stay on top of it. I can't live the rest of my life like this.
