I just got a scanguage 3 and I want to mount it in the storage/change cubby behind the gear shift and cup holder. Have any of you fabricated something for this spot before? Or does anyone know of a panel or bracket made that fits in this spot?

I have the SG2 and purchased a bracket from Etsy that fits on top of the steering colum. So maybe you can start there.

I've used that cubby for placing, first a backup camera monitor and most recent/current a Sirius XM radio. So your idea is very feasable, but finding a bracket or panel may prove to be difficult.

Each time I stuck something in there, I kind of figured it out as I went. The backup monitor and Sirius radio were (are) stuffed in there using cushion tape and/or velco. They actually "nested" in there pretty good and neither moved(s) or rattled(s) around.

Going to attached a picture of the monitor and of the radio. I try to use what I have on hand, so there's no consistency of color actual material in either picture. Maybe they'll help you out.

    The backup monitor (AutoVOX 4.3) was 6.5"L x 4.1"H x 3.8"D

    The current Sirius SXPLTV1 is 4.5"L x 2.4"H x .07"D
