I can't say I'm a fan of many that I've tasted from Penelope. With that being said, I have a wheated store pick that's delicious. No idea if I'm going to keep this Rio or trade it. Leaning more towards trade

Poured myself a big cup and poured a 1/4 cup in the infinity bottle

 

Keep seeing much talk about this, for $18.99 definitely worth a shot.

Been a bit. I just picked up an OWA and Buffalo Trace store pick here in PA. Everyone says the OWA is outstanding. And some baby Blantons.

 

Def still one of my favorite budget choices.

Have you ever been to the bar at Willett? Probably the nicest experience I have had at a distillery. You have a choice of about 200 purple tops. Not sure how to pick.

I sort of unintentionally have a collection of purple tops. Finished a 9 year a while back and have an 8 year wheated open right now. The one I am most curious about but haven't opened is a 10 year 143 proof...

As I finish them off, I've been working on some blends that get it pretty close. So far I haven't been able to match the taste of Act 11 Scene 8. It just seems juicer, a little sweeter than the previous batches.

Ya know, Bookers and Little Book get a lot of haters, but honestly man, I really like them. Each batch is different in its own way, and other than that brown rice batch, I like them.

 

That purple top is messing with the ambiance of that shelf. I'll take it off your hands.

 

Only need two more to complete the collection. Cognac, and VSOP finishes
