Predator step tube install

Hello,

I just purchased some OE predator step tubes for my ‘23 OR. Does anyone know the torque specs for the bolts that hold them on? Called the dealership and they weren’t able to give a straight answer.

M8 bolts are 16 to 18 Ft/lbs

I just slapped mine on and tightened them up. Four years later they are still there.

 

Agreed, no biggie. It's not rocket science and they aren't safety/performance related. Have smacked them on rocks on dozens of trails and they're still holding up great.

 

I’ve got a 2010 TRD Sport, been taking them off every fall and putting them back on every spring for the past 15 years ( I’ve got the grey oem tube steps that don’t handle salt very well ) , I tighten them up hand tight and have never had a problem .
