It's not a bad job if you can get a second set of hands to help. Plenty of grinding discs and some BFHs and you're in business.

took a few attempts to figure out the rivets. Once you get those nailed down it’s smooth sailing.

It goes pretty easy with an air hammer for the ones in the side of the frame and a ball joint press for the ones on the bottom.

I was able to grind the heads off enough then used a c-clamp and sockets to press them out. Also had punches on hand.

I had one as well, but after dropping one of the spacers on my head and not getting it to fit quite right I went to c clamp.

Was never sure what the spacer bounced off to hit me on the head

Been sitting in the garage for about a year, but I finally knocked it out today. Definitely labor intensive, but pretty straightforward. Those rivets definitely put up a fight. Awesome product though!

what’s the noticeable change in ride with these hangers both on and offroad?

Could be placebo, but the rear definitely feels stiffer now, but in a good way. Feels more planted. I don't have a front sway bar and even body roll seems to be less now

It improved my ride significantly both on and offroad.
I also have a hanger cross brace and BAMF shock relocation.
I'm a bit heavy especially loaded up for a long trip.
This just about eliminated leaning sideways on the hwy cloverleaf exits and other higher speed turns.
    Plenty of articulation offroad too.
Search this thread for my posts and you'll see my truck flexed up in some rocks

can you please clarify why you don’t keep the parking brake on? Is this because of the rotation needed in the rear?…probably a dumb question :anonymous:

also, is the crossbar more needed in heavy rear situations? High speed? Low speed?

There is a lot of tension from the parking brake cables and it’s just makes things easier.
