A little bit of background. I'm an electrician in the Navy and work on high voltage systems daily, but I only have a little experience with wiring auxiliaries from back when I had my jeep. Now, I'm loving my new 2020 Tacoma going on 3 years of ownership. With it, I wanted to run my auxiliaries the right way and utilize a switch panel.
I got an LCD screen sPod with the bantamx switch panel. I want to wire up a winch, fog light, and my light bar. The winch won't get a whole lot of use obviously, so I want to wire it to the battery. But the lights come with wiring harnesses which include switches I don't need and relays (which I assume I don't need since the sPod utilizes mosfets and solid state tech). I would just like some guidance on how to go through with all of this, as well as for backlight functionality with a negative and positive and backlight wire, can I just make a jumper from one negative to another on the switch panel?20240627_141418.jpg

Also, this is effectively their provided wiring diagram for the lightbar harness. The fog lights from pathfinder seem similar. So, from what I understand, I can get rid of the relay and switch portion of the harness in order to wire from the DT connector at the lights to the switch panel. But it has a red, black, and blue (backlight) wire, so I was curious if when wiring to the switch panel, can I make a jumper from the black wire connection at the switch panel to another negative connection on the switch panel for "negative"
