Trimmed my front fenders today. Installing the C4 fender liner kit tomorrow. I'll do the rears eventually too but no hurry for that one.

So much more room in there now it makes the 35s look small.

Bought an eBay snorkel for $71 shipped

    I was quoted $650-$1000 for install ( I'm lazy and it's hot)

I decided to get off my butt and save money and do it myself.

I can confirm the one from eBay lines up perfectly with the ARB snorkel made for Tacomas.

This is what the crappy body guy did... You can see the inconsistent amount of epoxy and fiberglass bondo he did. From seeing it from the back side no wonder it was swelling and shrinking with temp.

Pretty straightforward install. Could not get the second bracket to line up on either side no matter how much I adjusted it - so I just said fuck it and left it there as a little brace if nothing else.

I may have been a little overzealous in trimming the plastic flares. Oh well still looks pretty good and I guess I can get used flares if I decide I want a do-over at some point.

edit: note that there are no instructions and just a big bag of unlabeled hardware. For $500 I think C4 could do a bit better.

No one considers when you tuck your front tires while they're turned. You trimmed the fenders perfectly for full lock, full compression even though it looks like an excessive trim for a wheels straight compression.

If they were 17s I’d be driving to Anderson. That would be too much temptation.
