I am replacing my OME suspension and the rear shocks P/N 60062 have been discontinued, but have been replaced with 63062. The newer shocks have a better dust shield and what looks like a better/more durable logo sticker and probably some other stuff that I don't know about. However, the newer bushings have a much smaller inner diameter that makes it very difficult to install. I got out my calipers and measured the inner diameter of both and the old style is .75" and the new style is .675". Doesn't seem like much, but it does make it really hard to install.

Has anyone else tried these new style shocks yet and did you struggle getting them installed with the smaller bushings? Any tricks to getting these on easier?

That's pretty common with most new shocks i gotten. I'm going to assume the the mount post is 17mm or .700" so .675" sounds right to me for a new rubber bushing.

Lube her up and stick it in. You can spit if you have to but I use any spray or lube thats handy.
