Greetings, Got a 24 Tacoma SR5, bone stock. What are biggest tires possible? I don't want to make any modifications and no rubbing.

I'm thinking about trying the BFGoodrich TA KO3 - LT 275 / 70 R 17 on stock 17" rim. Anyone running this setup on 24 Tacoma? Or at least this tire size on 24 Tacoma? I'm interested to learn if any rubbing occurred.

    thanks,

thanks, according to this video, i'll be fine with 275 / 70 / 17 tires, no rubbing and no modifications needed...... I was thinking about doing the bigger 285 / 70 / 17 tires, which this video says can be done with no rubbing or modifications but I've read mixed reviews on that.

There's not really a cheap or easy way to find this out.
The 275 is closer to 32", the 285 not quite 33". The 255/80 is the largest tire by height at just over 33".

The other thing people forget, and most never think of it because it's not an issue, but if you have to chain your tires ever, some of those bigger tires don't leave a lot of space for chains.

275's work for sure -- we put them on one at the dealership I work at.
