Hello, everyone. I have a Sr Access cab 4x4, with the stock toyo 31 245/75/16 tires. I am looking for options to an AT tire. I drive mostly pavement, but live in Ny where we get some serious snow storms. So I am looking for a good all around AT that wont kill my mpg. Also would a 265/70/16 fit with out rubbing? stock ride height. I would like a little wider tire if possible. Thanks in advance.

Stick to a P tire (instead of LT) if you want fuel economy.

There are probably better tires, but the a/t that comes with the OR is much better in snow than the a/s that comes on the SR5 and its rolling resistance only slightly higher in my experience (0-4 hiway mpg less). I don’t have an apples to apples comparison because my 2016 SR5 was an auto and my 2020 OR is a manual.

Note that the stock tire on the upper trims is 265mm wide. You are fine with that width.

Toyo Open Country ATIII. Very decent in snow too

Stick with 245/75 if you have the 2.7L

The Toyos in that size are the lightest AT tire available too in my knowledge

I'm probably going to get some crap for this suggestion...

I "downsized" the tires of my TRD OffRoad to your current size. I also went with Discount Tire Pathfinder and couldn't be happier. The slightly narrower tires hasn't changed how it handles. Much better snow and rain performance than the stock Goodyear Adventurer at a decent price and Discount's excellent service.

I had an 09 2.7l (4x4) which had 275/75R16 load range E tires. It worked fine. It averaged a bit over 25 mpg (highway miles).

I stuck on a set of Duratracs the day after I bought it. (white out) Terrible choice! If I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. Loud and cool!

I've been thinking of going back to stock size, currently have 265/75 but between the elevation and bigger tires the truck has been bogging.
