Tacoma spraying and hissing

Hey y’all, I have a Tacoma 2021 and yesterday I was in a parking lot waiting and I was there for about 35 minutes and all the sudden I hear a loud hissing and air or smoke was coming out from underneath the driver side. My truck wasn’t over heating but the a/c wasn’t cold at all. It sounded like a line busted or came off but I couldn’t see anything. What could this be?

sounds like just that. If not under warranty, I would get it to a good A/C tech, addressing a leak, replacing items, cleaning, properly charging A/C systems are not DIY.

 

I was expecting to hear a story about a barn cat you allowed into the house.

But anyway, yes it sounds like an A/C hose failed.

It could be a sthneekie sthnake. on a more serious note if you have marmots and you leave your truck outside they will gnaw all of your wires and braided lines as they use them to keep their teeth sharp and shortened just a thought not saying that’s what it is don’t ask me how I know inspection time!
