Morning all just getting caught up on like 3 pages. @koditten I have a 9000 BTU in my garage attached to the house installed cost me $3000 from my electric co-op. Like others said make sure you get it rated for the freezing temperatures.
I got mine with the hyper heat for extra low temperature. It's been great the filters only get cleaned every 6 months. You could put it in yourself I would guess.

I used this in my basement:

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HDYAOY..._1_9&amp=&crid=RDQSHX14BH77&sprefix=bora+care

Makes 2 gallons. I mixed it with hot water in a pump sprayer. It's a sticky mess, but I think it works. Haven't seen any Frass on the floor since then.

This is some of the damage. Has not progressed any since spraying

It will need a new 2x10 sistered as there is some slight sagging, but I need 16' and that's a little difficult to get to the house.

The spray will leave a reside, as seen here on the wiring.

Also will mess with your copper pipes, but being in the shop I doubt you have those.

I'm not worried as I am planning on re-piping the house to up the size of the pipe.

Gotta keep the world moving! I don't mind. I've even worked Christmas before to repair some equipment since we had the downtime.

Tell me what you all think of this, it makes 30 gallons and says it can be sprayed on wood.

After finding some termites Saturday I got to looking around in the shop and there are a few places where they are and I kind of want to spray every board in the shop.

Looks to be more toxic than the Boracare. Looks like minimal uses inside on wood? Price looks good, but I have pets and cannot risk it.

Hmm, it does say pet safe when used as directed. Would probably need to relocate her till it all dries. I might pick some up for exterior treatment.

    Excellent point!
@koditten , check your electric company for any offers they might have. We did that for our heat pump water heater , good deal on the package and our bill dropped significantly!

When I get home and open the doors she usually goes outside and lays down. With the heat it won't take long to dry so that makes me feel better about her.

More than likely that's the truth. They can't figure out why they look similar though
