I've gotten my tires rotated every 5k miles since I bought the truck new in 2022. Last rotation was in January at 20k miles.

Today, I took my truck into my local tire place for my 25k rotation, and they said they wouldn't rotate them because of lack of tread.

I went home and took a look myself- the inside of the front two tires is significantly more worn than the outside. I measured ~5/32 on the outside of each tire, and ~1/32 on the inside.

Truck is 100% stock, haven't touched any suspension components, the tires are the goodyear wranglers that come on the TRD OR.

Anyone seen that before? I called an alignment shop to see if they'd look at it, they said to take it to the dealership because something is probably wrong with the suspension to see that much uneven wear after 25k miles and it should be under warranty.

Wish I could say that it's 25k miles on rocky trails, but I've been camping like 3 times since buying the truck and all three times were ~10 miles of maintained forrest service roads. I drive to/from my grandma's house to drop the kids off for day care 3x per week, and carry 800 lbs in the bed for random projects every couple of months.

I doubt the dealership will have anything constructive to say except we will sell you some overpriced, substandard tires.

A few, mainly added skids. I like leaving the suspension alone. I drive forest service dirt roafs in the desert west extremely extremely too fast. Toyota nailed this suspension going 65 across desert terrain. Changing it is dumb unless you have a specific need like crawling or mud.
That's actually not to bad. If those are the factory wranglers you did all right. Mine looked about like that at 25k. Remember that the tires that came on the truck are meant to last about 30k tops.

I'm at 38k miles, stock 22 also, front passenger inner side is well worn compared to the rest
Have rotated tires and been passing wheel alignments up to my 30k free service - at 35k I did my own rotation front to back and noticed the excessive wear on that one tire

They don't look that bad to me. If they were mine, I'd rotate them myself and keep driving them.

The first thing you need to do is find a good alignment shop and have them put it up on the rack and see just what the numbers show you. They will tell you most of the story. Most dealers are less than useless when it comes to alignment stuff. I would not go to a dealer for this unless an alignment shop found something that might be a factory defect or something else that might be under warranty. The most likely scenario is that you hit something and knocked your alignment out which is causing your tire wear. Post the alignment numbers after you get them. FWIW, I took my Tacoma to the alignment shop a couple of days after I got it and had it aligned. It was not in spec from the factory.

I had feathering on both front tires until I started running 35psi all around. That did it in my situation.

That is an air pressure and alignment issue. Time for new tires, and alignment, and playing with pressures, to get even contact throughout the contact patch. Ski

Too much camber and running the tire pressure on the higher side???

You must drive on a lot of gravel or cinder roads. Those are the most chewed up and weather checked tires I’ve seen in a while. Especially for only 2 years old and only 25k miles.

Agree with others - best bet is independent alignment shop first.

They are worn all around. Also chewed up as stated. The factory tires on these trucks are known junk. I think you got your money's worth. Buy a better tire and get an alignment. I'm surprised that you are surprised.

I typically run 32-34, which is hair higher than what the door jamb says. That’s not enough to make a difference, right?

NVM guess it was 25k or 2 years from ToyotaCare - I hit 25k miles first, averaging about 18k miles a year
I'm also running 32 psi cold, I think it said on the door or manual, I forgot - I've been trying to get an alignment done from the dealer for the last ~3 weeks but the cyber attack crap has me delayed, I didn't want to go to a tire shop that deals with other cars than Toyota (probably dumb)

Planning to get new tires before the winter, nearing 4/32 on the stock goodyear wranglers at 38k miles, not bad I think
