Adapter to run Jetboil on top of 1lb propane bottle?

    I know this is an old post. Don't run your Jetboil off an LPG adapter. I used an LPG adapter I have, and used without problems on other burners. On the jetboil, it pulled out the brass orifice, which is press fit into the burner assembly, and destroyed the burner. The orifice is brass, and it was impossible to remove from the LPG adapter. I've never had this issue on any other stove I've used, so maybe the jetboil brass gas plunger is slightly oversized relative to other brands, but regardless, the burner was ruined. Warranty claim denied.
