So last month i purchased a second hand fresh rebuilt marlin crawler R150F 5 speed meant for a T100 4x4 with the 5vzfe thinking it would work for my 2002 5vzfe Taco. Found out after the purchase about the differences in the transfer case (Taco driver side drop/ T100 pass. side drop).

Trying to figure out if i can right my wrong by swapping just the rear cases between my current trans and the rebuilt unit since from looking at different rebuild videos it seems the rear cases are virtually the same (minus the transfer case bolt patern). However I'm curious about the input shaft lengths and if they match. The T100 trans i have has a 7.5" long input shaft. Was wondering if anyone had a R150F (from a late 90s/ 2000's 5vzfe Taco or 4runner) they could measure the input shaft length on????

    Would forever gratefull!

i have one (from '97) in a Yota1 box (roached tip) that has not been dismantled yet

would you just need the length from the bearing to the tip, i believe that bearing retainer cover is off of it

thanks! so a measurement from the bellhousing mating surface of the trans to the tip of the input shaft would be great!
