How much clearance is needed for CMC?

    I rub when going offroading and my cab mounts are showing evidence of tire streaks

    How much clearance should I aim for? Pic for reference

    wdym how much clearance should you aim for

    it's CMC or CMR. CMR comes as CMR. CMC comes as CMC.
    Or are you doing it entirely yourself from scratch? If so I imagine aim for as much as possible without compromising mounting. Which may or may not be enough and is the point of why CMR was developed.
    Or, if you buy a CMC kit, that will probably have instructions and the piece itself act as a guideline of how far back to cut.

    The same shit everyone else has.
    Trim it.

    Go out and flex it.

    If it’s good, weld it.

    If it’s not, trim more and test again.

    Last thing you want to do is have to redo everything once it’s done.
