This will be week 2 of not needing to mow here. Drier than a popcorn fart. Actually scratch that, don't do that, it might set the field on fire behind the house o_O

I actually want to say it's 3 weeks. I know the battery in the mower is flat, so it hasn't been run in a while.

Seems to be the norm around here now. Wet AF early Spring and then nothing :annoyed:

dear God. Yes. My Mom does that, and adds RELISH.

We call it an RPM. Relish, Peanut butter and Miricle Whip.

She blames it on the depression. Youngest of 8. Went to college in '53 and didn't have 'a bucket to piss in or a window to throw it out of'. She was a professional woman in a different age. Sandwiches like that nourished you for little dough. As my Dad would say, she's a hell of broad. 91 and still walkin' a few miles a day and just welcomed her 7th great grandchild into the world. May be somethin' to those disgusting sandwiches.

    Had a interesting afternoon yesterday.

Carol and I went to Longhorn steakhouse after bowling.

I have no problem giving myself a injection anywhere but Carol says it would freak

others out. So, I go to the bathroom. Well, since I went, I took a leak too.

I knew someone else was in there but whatever. So while in the stall I hear a noise

like dropped glasses. Then this voice says oh no, oh no, like it was a expensive pair of glasses.

Not loud, just like “dam, that sucked”.

Then I hear him call for his wife standing outside the door. Quietly.

    I said OH SHIT…

So I get done and walk out of the stall, and here is this bearded guy on the floor looking at me.

    Good size guy.

    So here we go..

Asked if he was ok and if he wanted help up.

So, I go to help him up and he’s not helping. Not trying to sit up, dead weight.

So I said “work with me here”.

Well, not much better but I got him sat up.

I asked him if he wanted to stand and he said yes. So got under his shoulders and picked him up.

SOAB he was heavy. And not helping..

So got him up and leaning against the wall.

All the time he’s saying thank you.

Well, all his movements were slow.

    Something wasn’t adding up.

So then,he finally says he has Parkinson’s….

So I get him to shuffle to the door.

Once outside his wife meets him and they shuffle away.

I don’t think he told her he fell.

    Meantime

Carol is getting worried for Me.

Because I’m in and out all the time.

So she starts looking for someone to go check on me. Lol.

Then she saw me behind the other guy and figured something happened.

No one else was around to help him and no way she could have picked him up.

    Right place, right time.

    Have safe holiday folks.
Replacing the foggy headlights on my GF’s CX9 today. Involves removing the entire front bumper fascia and grill. Woot.

    Morning.
    Raining.
    No fishing today.
Got an extra (backup) propane tank for the food which will be consumed by the hoard.
Not going to be quiet here all day.. :(
At least the rain should stop for lunch.
Have a great day all. Be safe. BE SMART….
