    Crisco if you're not worried about fat or your cholesterol. Makes the best damn fried stuff. Olive oil really isn't meant for frying.

    Sitting Bull Falls. A true oasis in the desert outside Carlsbad, NM. It forms a unique micro climate in the canyon where it resides. Fed by natural springs before plunging 150 feet into a cold, refreshing swimming hole. Nobody knows or can explain how it got its name. Sitting Bull was a Sioux. Who were never in the area. The Apache name is gostahanagunti which means hidden gulch
