So, I drove, parked, went to start the truck the next day, and just cranked over without starting. Lots of miles on the pump, but checked other things first.

I pulled the EFI, Fuel Pump, and the C/op relays, put power to them and they clicked. I checked resistance at the FP relay and was about 110. I'm remedial with a multi meter, and the relays don't have diagrams on them, so that's as far as I got with those.

I then pulled the fuel line with the yellow clip under the hood, closest line forward towards the grill, put a hose on it with the other end in a cup. Cranked for a bout 3 or 4 seconds, got no fuel at all.

Not sure if anything else would cause the sudden fault and no fuel at the fuel line? Would a pump just suddenly die like that?

    Thanks,

If it has a dead spot on the commutator in the pump motor and it stops on that spot it won't start running again, sometimes you can hit on the bottom of the tank with a hammer while someone cranks it and they will take off again.

You may also want to check connector IB1 Pin 8 (Black/Red), the pin has been known to burn there.

Forgot, I banged on the tank with a dead blow while it was being cranked, about 7 hits. is that plug on the inside behind the panel?

Yes, it's behind the left kick panel.
If it looks good backprobe that pin and make sure you have power there while cranking, if that's good next stop is the fuel pump.

A little late, time flies when it's hectic. Doesn't seem like this was 7 months ago. I checked the plug and it was fine, ended up replacing the fuel pump. The hardest part about that was getting the clips off, I even use a clip tool:frusty:. Thanks for the input.
