How many miles on your 4th gen?

Well I tried that, but the light doesn't come on till it shows only 10 miles left. I'm not comfortable letting it go that low even with the reserve. Not hilly, I'm in Phoenix AZ area

 

I wouldn't pay attention to the mpg metering, It will make you neurotic and you're gonna drive it anyways, so just drive it and fill up when you feel like it.

 

you're right. it will make me neurotic lol. I fill it when it makes sense for me. I just wish the mileage was better. I actually got better mileage with my full size f150 4x4

 

Yes, 10 miles left is correct, until your reserve starts. And that’s around 4+ gallons of fuel still remaining in tank. Not that it matters to you or not. But you should just manually calculate mpg as well. And a good chance mpg will improve once broken in

 

About 20 mpg, but I don't drive to maximize mileage either.

 

I’ve had my Limited since March and have just over 9000 miles on it. Averaging right at 20mpg when calculated manually. I never check the automatic mileage calculation.

73 miles got it yesterday, I would never go back to a third gen.

 

I would say that's the highest on here so far. Hope they have been good. Just about to hit 5000km in the next day or so.

They’ve been great. So far, I really love this truck. Biggest trip was between Houston, Tx and Louisville, Ky to move a daughter out of college after she graduated. Pulled a UHaul back from there with no problems.

 

Picked her up last Monday, have 145 miles on her so far. Traded in my 2022 TRD Sport DCLB in Wind Chill Pearl as I got a really good deal on the trade in that I couldn’t turn down. Paid MSRP with no markups. Pretty base outside of the 14 inch screen and predator steps. Thing drives like a dream, I’m in love. Hated getting rid of the long bed, but the short bed fits in the garage much easier. My long bed always fit in by mere inches.

I have 223 miles on mine. I've had it just over a week. I don't drive much since I'm retired.

1509 miles already… I’ve only seen ONE 2024 Tacoma on the roads around here too. And the funny thing is, it was the same color as mine (solar eclipse)
