Why were you replacing the pulley? Was it squeaking? The last several times I’ve used aftermarket off the self pulleys at autoparts store haven't lasted as long as oem. I also like to use a little soapy water sprayed on one pulley at time to figure out the squeaker. Hope this helps.

It’s loud as hell. Thats why. I replaced the one on my 2.5 gen and it changed my mental life. now the pully gods hate me. I haven’t tried pulling it yet, it’s just to damn hot out. I’ll try pulling it out early in the morning. I made a harbor freight trip today and got what I think I need.

First thing you have to do is cuss and throw a fit.
That helps a lot, or at least it helps me.

    Then.......

Pull the front left wheel off.
    Remove the rubber apron.
    Unbolt the A/C
    Unbolt the A/C mounting bracket.
    Remove the tensioner assembly.

Put a big nut on the broken part ,tack weld it on the inside of the nut,and then remove.

Simply, did you get it fixed, or replace the entire assembly.
