AC power inverter as dealer added or aftermarket.

In my struggle for finding TRD OR long beds, some incoming and landed within 350 miles do not have the power inverter in packages or a single item. It is also not clear to me if the bed of a pickup without it has the 12V and USB ports.

Can any of you help me know if a dealer adding this is potential for trouble such as making a mess of taking things apart? Do all the TRD OR long beds have the other electrical sources where I could use an aftermarket product and/or battery?

We're not sure we want a sunroof which also explains interest in some lower spec TRD OR.

Get the NONpremium with the upgrade package. This gives you power heated seats, power sliding rear window, and the 12v and 120v 400 watt plugs in the bed- maybe some other stuff

The electrical outlet in your bed is just an outlet. The 400W inverter for your truck is located under the center console (where your right elbow rests) in the cabin and is floppy disk drive sized. It is hidden from view.

The 2400 W inverter for the hybrid trims is located in a hybrid specific unit that you can't miss by size and color. It is located inside the rear passenger engine bay. You cannot miss it.

You are welcome to try to plug in a 1000+ watt hair dryer into the electrical outlet in your bed to see if it runs. You will find it will it will not regardless the state of the engine.
