The cluster of 8 H1s were Redstone derived, and basically a V2 engine successor. They lived on as the engine for the Delta 2 rockets .. Stage 2 had *6* RL-10s .. And Stage 3 basically became centaur. Which ... still flies on Vulcan.

I think I heard it took them 28 days to get the blown stand back up and running. This was probably already in the works but took on some added importance with the need for redundancy showing up here as well.

 

More importantly it weakened significantly on its way north so no matter where it landed people could breathe a bit easier.

 

All right, full disclosure....just smoked a bowl of brain storm, but it's a question on my mind.

The moon does not spin as earth's natural satellite...what could make it spin (human intervention) and if we could, would there be any benefit? Or would it cause harm.

The moon spins, it's just that it's rotational period is the same as orbital period.

But the dark side is always dark relative to earth...no? So ya, I see your point, any benefit to making it spin "faster"? If we even could.
