    Hello Jeff,

Thank you for the great post, details and your many contributions to the forum. I am about to purchase a 2024 TRD Offroad Manual Transmission and was trying to verify that these are in fact coming with the larger axles in the rear. Now that the Tacoma's are rolling in, and the OP was from 11/2023, has it been verified that the rear axles on the M/T are 9.5" on the TRD Off-Roads? Or, do you have a source for the original technical data? I just want to verify that this is in fact the case. If not, I may just go ahead with an A/T.

Thanks in advance for anything direction you can point me in. I just haven't been able to find something that provides me with this confirmation other than your post. I feel like I may have watched a YouTube video with Sheldon at one point that said this, but it was early on, and I can't seem to find it at this point.

Apologies if you've covered this elsewhere..I did search thru several threads and owner's manual but couldn't locate.
    Many thanks

2.6 qt. 75w-90 GL-4 is what is spec'd in the manual.

In my .pdf copy it is on page 617 way in the back. If you search for "75w-90" it should take you right to the applicable section.

In case you aren't already aware, getting a GL-4 spec (as opposed to GL-5) oil for the transmission is considered important https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=3le9ZT5HUlk

Any GL4 will work. Owner’s manual calls for 75W-90. I run conventional 80W-90 GL4 in my 3rd gen version and it shifts wonderfully. I have run as much as SAE 140 GL4 and 85W-90 GL4. They all work well, though the thicker ones not so much in the cold.

Does anyone have the technical info for the Sport and Off-Road suspension?
More specifically, I'm looking for the spring info on the Bilsteins for the off-road, such as spring rate, ID, OD and unloaded length.

This data would likely need to be measured/reverse engineered. It’s not standard data that’s published.
