Look up higher on the firewall you'll see a boot at the brake pedal

 

It is pretty, high, nearly directly inline with the fuse box, on the firewall, you nearly have to put your head to the floor to see it. On the engine bay side, it will be just above where the wheel well meets the firewall.

Process is much easier with a long sharp screw driver, and completly remove the panel under steering column to get a better view of what you are doing, going to need to remove it anyways be able to pull the center consol switch panel and to run the wire cleanly.
