    Hey yall!

Just closed today on a deal for a 24 Taco TRD Sport Underground (MSRP: $43,477) with just the multimedia upgrade (14inch screen) and a bunch of distributor installed options (steps, black out badges, etc.). Closed the deal with about 4200 off so I was able to take the truck home for about 43,400 out the door with a new tag!

What do you guys think about the deal? Is this about average or did I actually secure a great deal!

yes, but discounts are relative, better to use percentages.

Mine was over 5k off on a $43069 msrp, so about 11.8% off.

    OP is 9.7%

indeed but you could also argue an additional dimension... "% discount by trim"... in any case my TRD OR with upgrade package was discounted 3k... or about 6.25% off MSRP. keep bringing down the prices please....

Absolutely, the more ways to add a perspective on value, the better. I was offered the 50k trd for 47 but decided I don’t need the crawl stuff or heated seats/wheel, OR shocks. I added TRD Wheels/Tires for 575 bucks after selling the orig wheels/tires. From another perspective those items would have cost me 8k + tax and higher insurance for the OR trim.

I have a much nicer off road capable vehicle if I want those items so I decided to go more basic. I haven’t seen a better deal than I got, but I have seen more money off of 55k spec units. The one thing that’s kinda funny is the temp/fuel gauge on the sr5. It’s looks like it’s from the 80’s. Maybe retro on purpose but it looks like a cheap afterthought.

Sounds like you got a good deal, smart as well , i myself have 2014 4 runner trail, it has crawl, kdss, all of the whistles ….honestly i just dont find need for all of that , so im leaning towards new taco sport. Lol. Im holding out to see new colors for 2025 and crossing fingers for a dark green color who knows. Anybody know when the 2025 colors get announced ? ………..warning. I have run on sentences here, i also have poor spelling, poor typing skills, and my punctuation isnt proper …..just a heads up
