How to secure headlight trim pieces…?

2010 Zombie Truck 2002 PT Cruiser

For well over a year now, the painted plastic trim pieces beneath my headlights have been loose, and they started getting really bad late last year so I resorted to securing them with duct tape (my truck is Silver Streak Mica)…

I have seen a few 2nd Gens driving around without these trim pieces…

How do I get them to stay in place?!?!
