TracRack ladder rack height.

    rotated tires changed oil threw out the old air freshener.
    I need a ladder rack. I like the look of the TracOne/ by TracRack.

    But the 26 inch upright height is a show stopper for me. 22" is more than enough.

    It "appears" that the base and top crossbar mounting pieces may be GLUED to the upright members. Can anyone confirm?

    Found these images that show the "erector set" modular construction.

    Ordered the kit, and cut the uprights to suit. It was required to re-tap threads to replace those that are cut off.

    They are the right height now. ;-)right height.jpg
