Why doesn’t the ambient air temperature sensor exist on the 2.7?

Is it built onto the compressor? Seems like you would need it. Lots of stuff about the other engines, but per usual us 2.7cels are left out in the cold.

 

Not sure what you mean, the Ambient Air Temp Sensor on 05-08 models was only equipped if the truck had the Accessory Meter in the overhead console because that was all it was used for.

09-15 models all have it because it's used by the A/C Amplifier for various functions although 14 and 15 models didn't even have the option for an outside temp display.
