My 2023 Taco's tailgate's latch is difficult to open. I have to push it in order for the latch to release.
    How do I fix this???
    Thanks

Lubricate the latch assemblies on either side. I do this every few months along w/ my Bakflip tonneau cover latches.

if it's a '23, it should be the dealers problem.

Are your bedsides square with the tailgate? Seriously. I parked on a side slope once and it happened to mine as well.
