In a pretty bad pickle rn. I bought my truck new back in 19, and it's sitting at just over 101,000 miles. Around 100,200 oil leaks developed and was taken to the dealer. It turns out the Rear Main Seal and High-Pressure Fuel Pump were leaking (only Oil). Fortunately, my warranty just ended 200 miles prior, and Corporate was able to give me credit for the repair + some money out of pocket. Both items were repaired, and I thought it was smooth sailing. Fast forward a couple of days later (after I cleaned my undercarriage), I see oil around the left rear part of the engine (right below the HPFP and between the engine and firewall). Went ahead and got some Liqui-Moly MolyGen and changed out the oil. I took a UV light, and it looks like the truck is leaking from the passenger side valve cover and the pipes/hoses behind the engine.

Unsure of what to do at this point. I am not sure if excessive pressure within the engine is causing the oil leak (I replaced the PCV valve about a month ago). Also, the tune on my truck allows the redline to be at 7k.

I'll Attach some pics as-well. Any input helps. Cheers!IMG_6382.HEIC.jpg

I'd start with repairing the passenger side valve cover.
Clean the hoses really good and inspect later.

I had the valves replaced around 99,000 so I still have warranty on the repair. (valves cover gasket, head gasket, valves). You think it would be worth a shot to just have the dealer take a look at it again?

Definitely a possibility but I highly unlikely. The dealer is top-notch when it comes down to any repairs

At what rate are you losing oil? If it is a slow leak, you could always live with it…

I haven't really calculated how much I'm losing but its definitely an amount that wouldn't be good to neglect. The undercarriage is coated in oil. Maybe an ounce of oil lost so far after the oil change. I could live with it but for being this new and having all my maintenance up to date at all times it is very unordinary.

No I'm not. I have been going to this dealer for the past 8 years. Never had an issue.

Replaced all the valves? Did you have a cylinder imbalance code or something?

Something along the lines of that. Had a CEL and truck was running a bit rough. Turned out I had burned valves (not unheard of but seen in higher mileage examples)

Yeah, that is the cylinder imbalance code(s). They typically replace whatever cylinder head the affected cylinder is in and then replace the exhaust valves for that cylinder. The leaks could be attributed to that as well, since they worked in that area.

Noted. That makes sense. Still on the original head
