No more Jordan from Discount Direct?

I just saw the closed thread that Discount Tires will not be active here on Tacoma World?

Is that at all or just less active? Is Jordan moving on?

He was so very helpful to me the past three sets of tires I purchased for my Tacoma and the wife's Corolla... Saving us shopping hassles and money, too.

 

Sounded like corporate is making the change, inactive for at least the foreseeable future. Yes, it's a shame.

 

I thought it was odd, but a helpful guy and great marketing. I was shopping on their website a bunch because of him even though I never looked at the company before.

Oh, and yeah, it's also regarding DTD.

However, if you have a Discount Tire card, TireRack will honor it, just have to call in.

 

I've been told I'm pretty old school (not just old).

 

Now that DTD has been dissolved into Tire Rack and TR no longer doing any price matching, I cannot see any reason for them to maintain a massive staff of sales reps.

 

Living in Texas, I’ve used Discount Tire in person stores for years and worked at one for a little while 20+ yrs ago.

I can tell upper management has changed the place. The last two sets of tires I’ve bought elsewhere.
