I’ve been lurking on this thread since it started. I loved the look of this wheel and how light it was! I finally pulled the trigger and bought these wheels with Michelin LTX AT2 265/70-R16. My goal was to have the lightest AT tire that rode like an all-season tire. This setup is 16 pounds lighter in each corner (64 total) than what was on there, and it makes a HUGE difference. Here they are mounted to my ancient 2005, this is the best wheel/tire combo I have had in 16 years of ownership.

Where can i get these wheels? any link to them would be appreciated. My Truck is a 2021 TRD off-road, with stock 16" wheels. I want to stay with 16' wheels.

My 1st Google result when I searched for "Tacoma Pro Rims" brought me to BAM Wholesale where I got mine but for some reason can't post the link.

Here is another thread on it:

Here is another option (that I went with myself) that's likely less expensive (tax and shipping included in the price). 16x8 so they're an inch wider and there's a couple other color choices. Other than having to remove the front mud flaps (slight rub on stock suspension w/ 265/75/16 wildpeaks) I am happy with them. Both look and ride great.....

Currently I have a 2020 TRD sport with no lift and im running 265/70/17 goodyear duratracs on the 4runner trd sema matte black wheels, i am close to trading in and purchasing a 2022 trd sport and want to put the 2020+ pro wheels with 265/75/16 duratracs, can anyone help me with how much the wheel will stick out between the two? I like the stance of my current setup and want to see if the potential new setup will yield a similar result. Thanks

I’m pretty sure this was posted in this thread earlier. Not going to look it up, but if memeory serves me correct. The 2020 Pro wheels stick out .5” inch each wheel and the 4Runner pro wheels stick out 1” each wheel more then stock TRD sport wheels. So your new stance will be 1” less wide then before.

Putting these on my '19 OR next week along with some mild A/T tires (either Michelins or Continental Terrain Contact). My only hesitation would be potential for minor impacts on mileage or towing characteristics. My math says ~.47" more poke per wheel. Much ado about nothing?

Edit: Can't believe how different the truck now rides with the new wheels wrapped in Michelin Defenders.

I just got the pro wheels installed along with new tires the other day. The crew at Discount in their infinite wisdom put my off road center caps on them b/c my new ones are on backorder. Can these be swapped out w/o removing the wheel?

Anyone in this thread end up w/ balance issues down the road, due to the pro wheels getting/being out of round?
I don't have dents/bends per se, I have egg shapes that developed (got mine in summer of '21) on two of the four wheels. No air leaks, etc. but they will not fully balance due to "bends". Arrggh.
Nope, I do not recall hit anything severe while hunting, gravel dirt roads, trails etc.? But, I'm not infallible. Now have to replace two of the wheels.
I know on latest 4Runner Pro wheels they went to "flow formed" and not cast (that was asked several times in this thread by others and no one answered either way). I'm thinking "flow formed" would've helped me at this point, as I suspect
PT946-35200-02 are "cast". My weak results sure seem that way ..... and I had generous side wall - 265/75/r16. Pisser.

Maybe rebalanced and have then try different weights instead of the sticky weights. Those one that they pound them in.

Just picked up some 2020 pro wheels with tpms and stock tires. Will I have to relink the new tpms wheels to my truck or does the truck read it automatically?

Weights are clipped on type. Variance on shape is over 0.16" which is beyond "run out acceptability". Latest balance improved the shakes but it can't overcome it, they are still there. Not good long term - even if put to the back permanently, I then can't rotate tires properly, eventually uneven wear on tire and bearing issues. 2 new wheels arrive Friday.

When you go down this rabbit hole of bent allow wheels, it's apparently pretty common - I had no idea?

Wheel repair shop an hour away advised I just replace them - "egg shape" is likely most expensive to fix vs obvious small dent.
The owner has same rims on his tacoma. Btw, he was working on $7000 magnesium rims for client - Good Gawd, I said "are they made of platinum?" - he dead panned, "no, magnesium"

Vids on YouTube recommended resetting the TPMS when tires are rotated, so....

Geez the center caps clips are fragile. Really need to finesse them to go in. Jb weld time for all current broken ones.

I was sure to get the TRD Pro wheels however, this set of Rock warrior wheels popped up on my fb market and I just had to grab them.
